This image was taken at Arcachon in the south west of France on the Atlantic coast. Oysters have been farmed here since the Roman times and are famous for their delicate flavour. These oyster beds are near the Dune de Pilat which is the tallest dune in Europe. A wonderful place!
The image has been edited with a texture over the top of it to give it a painterly feel.
This is a limited edition print. It is printed on the gorgeous Hahnemûhle Photo Rag paper and each print comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
Available in three sizes:
Small - 30cm x 24cm with a 1cm white border around the image
Medium - 50cm x 40cm with a 1cm white border around the image
Large - 70cm x 50cm with a 1cm white border around the image.
Small and medium prints are packed in a cardboard envelope in a protective sleeve. Large prints are carefully covered with tissue paper and bubble wrap, and are placed into a robust cardboard tube, secured and sealed at both ends.
The certificate of authenticity which has the artist's signature, the edition number and a holographic security stamp is included in the packaging.
