Why Choose to have a Fine Art Photograph of Your Horse?

My background in both art and equine photography gives me a rare understanding of horses — not only how they look, but how they communicate, move, and express themselves.

I work with patience and sensitivity, always putting the horse first.

Each portrait is created with studio lights and backgrounds but done with patience and care, always with the horse's welfare at the centre

No rushed sessions.
No forced expressions.
No images that feel disconnected from who they truly are.

Only work created with respect, observation, and care.

The Commission Process

We begin with a simple conversation.
You share your horse, your story, and what you would love to feel when you look at the finished piece.

Then I come to where the horse lives with all the equipment necessary to create a piece of modern art of your horse.

After setting up in an indoor space, which can be a stable, or a barn, or ideally an indoor school, we introduce your horse to the setting. Each horse is given all the time it needs to get used to the flashes and the background.

We then create magic!

This is a process that cannot be rushed, and that is exactly what gives the final piece its presence

You receive a finished piece that is:

• Timeless and refined
• Deeply personal
• Created to be lived with and treasured for years to come

Who Is This For?

This is for you if:

• Your horse is part of your life story
• You value beauty with meaning
• You want something personal and lasting
• You are drawn to soulful, elegant artwork rather than mass-produced décor
• You want to honour a bond that words cannot fully express

A commission becomes more than an image.
It becomes presence in your home.
Memory made visible.
Love given form.
