Returns & Refunds Policy

At Nathalie Todd Photography & Art, I want you to be delighted with your purchase. As each artwork is carefully created and prepared, this policy explains the conditions under which returns, refunds, replacements, and cancellations are accepted.

Original Artwork

Original artworks may be returned within 14 days of delivery if you change your mind.

To be eligible for a return:

  • You must notify me within 14 days of receiving your artwork.

  • The artwork must be returned in its original condition.

  • The artwork must be returned using suitable protective packaging.

  • The artwork must be returned with tracking.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the artwork is faulty or damaged on arrival.

Once the returned artwork has been received and inspected, any approved refund will be issued to the original payment method within 14 business days.

If an artwork is returned in a condition that reduces its value due to inadequate packaging or handling, a deduction may be made from the refund amount.

Fine Art Prints

Fine art prints may be returned within 14 days of delivery if you change your mind.

To be eligible for a return:

  • You must contact me within 14 days of receiving the print.

  • The print must be returned unused and in its original condition.

  • The print must be returned using appropriate protective packaging.

  • The return shipment must be tracked.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 14 business days after the returned print has been received and inspected.

Limited edition prints may be resold if returned in perfect condition.

Commissioned Artwork

Commissioned artworks are bespoke works created specifically for an individual client and therefore have different terms.

Deposits

A 50% deposit is required before work begins.

The deposit is fully refundable until work has commenced.

Once Work Has Begun

Work is deemed to have commenced once sketching begins.

Once sketching has begun:

  • The deposit becomes non-refundable.

  • Any payments made thereafter become non-refundable except where required by law.

Revisions

Two rounds of reasonable revisions are included during the agreed review stage.

Additional revisions may incur additional charges.

Completed Commissions

Once the final artwork has been approved by the client and completed, commissioned artworks cannot be returned or refunded.

Damaged Artwork

If your artwork arrives damaged:

  • Please contact me within 14 days of delivery.

  • Please provide clear photographs of the artwork, packaging, and any visible damage.

Depending on the circumstances, I may offer:

  • A replacement (where possible)

  • A repair

  • A refund

  • Store credit

Each case will be assessed individually.

Lost Shipments

If your order is lost in transit, please contact me as soon as possible.

Claims for lost shipments are handled on a case-by-case basis and may result in a replacement, refund, or alternative solution depending on the circumstances and carrier investigation.

International Orders

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, VAT, or other charges imposed by their country.

If an order is refused due to unpaid customs duties or import charges:

  • Any refund will be less the original shipping costs and any charges incurred by the return shipment.

  • Refunds will only be processed once the artwork has been successfully returned.

Return Process

To request a return:

  1. Email info@nathalietodd.com within the applicable return period.

  2. Include your order number and reason for the return.

  3. Wait for return authorisation before shipping the artwork.

  4. Return the artwork using tracked shipping and appropriate protective packaging.

Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout.

Please allow up to 14 business days after receipt and inspection of the returned item for processing.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned unless faulty or damaged:

  • Commissioned artworks once work has begun

  • Completed bespoke commissions

  • Gift cards

  • Digital downloads

  • Any personalised products created specifically for a customer

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
